Bali Safari and Marine Park terletak di Jalan Bypass Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Mantra tepatnya berada di tiga desa di Gianyar, yaitu Desa Lebih, Desa Serongga, dan Desa Medahan. Lokasi yang dapat ditempuh dari Denpasar 17 km dan jarak tempuh dari Kuta 30 km. Kawasan ini merupakan objek wisata nasional yang dibangun diatas lahan seluas 40 hektar.

Bali Safari and Marine Park menyediakan sebuah medium unik dalam sebuah kombinasi dari kehidupan satwa liar di habitat aslinya dengan ekosistem yang bersinggungan dengan kebudayaan masyarakat Bali. Disini wisatawan dapat menikmati berbagai jenis satwa langka yang terdiri dari 80 spesies dan 400 ekor satwa yang berasal dari tiga region, yaitu Indonesia, India, dan Afrika. Satwa langka yang menjadi kebanggaan Indonesia antara lain, Jalak Putih, Burung Hantu, Babi Rusa, Buaya, Tapir, Gajah Sumatra, Rusa Timor, Beruang Madu, Harimau Sumatera. Sedangkan Satwa langka yang menjadi kebanggaan bagi India yaitu , Rusa Tutul, Beruang Himalaya, Nilgai, Black Buck. Serta tak kalah menarik satwa langka yang menjadi kebanggan bagi Afrika yaitu Kuda Nil, Grevy Zebra, Onta Punuk Satu, Burung Unta, Babbon, Blue Wildebeest, dan Singa.

Di dalam taman ini ada beberapa pertunjukkan yang bisa anda nikmati seperti:

1. Animal Education show di Hannuman Stage. Taman Hanuman ini memiliki sebuah panggung dimana terdapat pertunjukan satwa, selain itu diberikan juga pengetahuan tentang satwa langka.

2.Elephant Conservation & Education Show di Kampung Gajah. Ini merupakan area dimana terdapat museum gajah, kandang gajah, tunggang gajah, souvenir, dan, warung gajah.

3.Elephant Bathing di Ganesha. Taman Ganesha ini memiliki sebuah patung Ganesha setinggi 9 m yang merupakan pintu masuk menuju Bali Theater. Di sini juga dapat dilihat replika relief yang berada di Gunung Kawi. Di Taman Ganesha anda dapat menyaksikan gajah yang sedang mandi di Tirta Gajah. Pengunjung dapat berinteraksi secara dekat dengan gajah-gajah yang sedang mandi.

4. Balinese Holy Water Procession di Tirta Sulasih. Tirta Sulasih adalah tempat untuk mandi dan merupakan tempat pemandian suci. Tirta Sulasih dapat dilihat saat menuju Peken Bali yang merupakan tempat penuh dengan nuansa kebudayaan Bali. Anda dapat menyaksikan kegiatan sehari-hari masyarakat Bali dengan budayanya. Kerajinan seni maupun souvenir dapat anda beli di sini.

5.Balinese Bamboo Music di Terminal Bali.

6.Balinese Dancing Class di Bale Banjar.

7.Tigers of Ranthambore merupakan benteng kuno yang berada di India. Benteng ini menjadi tempat berdiamnya harimau putih yang sangat langka. Pengunjung dapat berinteraksi lebih dekat dengan harimau putih tersebut melalui kaca yang berada di kolam. Disini anda juga dapat berfoto bersama harimau putih.

Bagi para pengunjung yang ingin bermalam maka disini tersedia Mara River Safari Lodge. Ini merupakan bungalow yang pertama di Asia. Jika anda menginap disini, maka anda akan dapat melihat berbagai satwa savana yang bebas berkeliaran.

Taman Safari Bali ini tentunya dilengkapi dengan beberapa fasilitas menarik yang bisa membuat betah para pengunjung di sana. Yang terutama yaitu koleksi binatang liarnya yang semuanya ditempatkan dalam habitat yang alami. Selain itu terdapat pula beberapa fasilitas penunjang lainnya seperti arena rekreasi yang menarik, Fun Zone. Kawasan Fun Zone disediakan khusus untuk anak-anak berusia maksimal 10 tahun di mana mereka bisa mencoba beberapa arena bermain yang bertarif Rp10 ribu sekali main seperti Mery Go Round, Clumbing Car dan Go Go Bouncer. Pengunjung juga bisa mencoba menunggang kuda poni atau unta dengan tarif Rp20 ribu, sedangkan untuk berkeliling dengan menunggang gajah selama 30 menit dikenai tarif Rp100 ribu. Seperti di taman safari lainnya juga, pengunjung bisa berfoto dengan beberapa binatang dengan cukup membayar Rp20 ribu. Bagi yang ingin berenang juga disediakan arena Water Park dengan tiket masuk Rp20 ribu per orang.

Selain menjadi tempat berwisata yang menyenangkan, taman safari juga menjadi tempat perkembang-biakan bagi hewan-hewan yang terancam punah di mana dikenal dengan istilah tempat konservasi ex-situ (konservasi keragaman hayati di luar habitat aslinya). Sekarang ini Taman Safari Bali akan mencoba mengembang-biakan harimau putih dari India yang sangat langka.

Ranthambore is a national park and tiger reserve in Rajasthan state of western India. the park lies at the edge of a plateau, and is bounded to the north by the Banas River and to the south by the Chambal River. there are several lakes in the park. it is named for the historic Ranthambore fortress, which lies within the national park. the park covers an area of 392 km2, and is famous for its tiger population, and is one of India's Project Tiger reserves. in 1972 the Indian government conducted their first ever census operation on the tiger. on the same year, the original "Tiger Task Force" had selected nine areas to become special reserves, and in 1973 "Project Tiger" was inaugurated in Corcett National Park in Uttar Pradesh. By 1974 Ranthambore had also been designated a "Project Tiger" reserve. it got it's status of a National Park in 1981.

Taman Safari Indonesia is an institution that deals extensively with ex-situ conservation of Sumatran Elephants. However, it has also established important and pioneering links between in-situ and ex-situ elepahant conservation efforts. since 1985, Taman Safari Indonesia has been involved in helping to solve the human - elephant conflict in sumatra. one achievement was the establishment of Elephants Training Centre (ETCs). TSI started the first ETC in Way Kambas National Park in Lampung Province than established other ETCs in Riau and Aceh. There are now six Elephant Training Centre in Sumatra. Bali Safari & Marine Park also established for Elephant captivity. We call it "Kampung Gajah" or Elephant Village. We have 20 Sumatran Elephant right now. here, we can enjoy with the Elephant trail,cuddles with the baby Elephants, take some pictures, elephant feeding and also we can see the elephants education show. this elephants education show is tell about the characteristic, their habits in the wild, the different between of Sumatran elephant and African elephant. elephant is the biggest wild animal since its body weight can be 5000 kg, while the female weight is lighter. the spreading out of Asian elephants is in India, Peninsula, Sumatra and Srilangka. Comparing to the African elephants, asian elephats have smaller body. these wild animals live in groups, consisting about 10-30 elephants in a group. their foods are all kinds of grasses and fruits. only male elephants have ivory tusks. the tusks start to grow at the age of 2 or 3 years old. tusk of female is not appear. the pregnancy period of an elephant is 22 months and they give birth 1 or 2 baby elephants.
